International Busking Day, for Wembley Park

International Busking Day, for Wembley Park

The Brief:

In its seventh year, International Busking Day returned to Wembley Park with big names and grassroots acts sharing 10 outdoor stages in close proximity to Wembley Stadium and the OVO Arena Wembley. The free festival welcomed hundreds of visitors, and featured 120 performers across a variety of disciplines, including music, dance and circus arts.

Our Approach:

We positioned International Busking Day as a celebration of a global art form, with a wide-ranging audience of all ages. We targeted music press including niche blogs to help promote undiscovered talent, to bigger broadcast radio for and Times Radio. As the festival is a family-friendly day out with acts appealing to everyone, we were also able to achieve placements in wide reaching media including Time Out, the Evening Standard, The Express, and ITV amongst many others.

The press achieved further supports International Busking Day as a musical highlight in London’s calendar, and at the most iconic destination for music and live entertainment.
