The Feelings Library

'We worked with After Nyne Consulting and they were brilliant; knocking it out of the park with very little lead time, but a lot of love (and great contacts!). I have already recommended them to friends with art and culture comms requirements and will certainly aim to work with them again.'

Catherine Borowski, Skip Gallery

The Feelings Library

The Brief:

The Feelings Library was an art installation aimed at bringing awareness to mental health issues and tackling loneliness during Christmas 2021. Inspired by the escalating mental health crisis in the UK brought on by the pandemic, as well as the sensorially overloaded cityscape in London, The Feelings Library saw the creation of a month long immersive public space, created within the confines of a skip. A Skip Gallery collaboration, this installation was built by architecture practice Caulkin Studio, alongside therapy service Self Space.

Our Approach:

With an incredibly short lead time, and despite numerous high profile Christmas festivities, we were able to achieve an enormous amount of coverage in a very tough market. We ensured that the visuals of this unique mini-library were exceptional, allowing the important message of good mental health to be seen in publications such as The Guardian, Dezeen, Arch Daily and Time Out.

Collaborators:

Caulkin Studio, Self Space, Skip Gallery, Spitalfields Market.
